Scott's Day Job
Scott is the Manager of Botanical Garden Outreach at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. He is heavily involved in running three highly rated and popular symposiums each year that have brought in many of the world's top horticultural experts and over 11,000 attendees.

Garden Writing & Speaking
Scott writes two columns for each issue of Horticulture Magazine, the humorous Deep Roots essay column and Garden Views, an interview column. For the latter, he has interviewed many top horitultural experts.
Scott is also a partner and blogger on the groundbreaking, influential, and world-respected blogsite, GardenRant.
For both of his Horticulture Magazine columns and for blogs on Garden Rant, Scott has received 7 Gold and Silver Medals from the International Society of Garden Communicators (GardenComm).
